Eindhoven Region – High-Tech meets City Design

Brainport Eindhoven excels in innovation, technology and design. This is expressed in the different hubs, such as the High-Tech Campus for R&D, Strijp as creative hotspot and the Brainport Industries Campus for the high-tech manufacturing industry. The Dutch Mountains wants to make an extra contribution to the signature of Brainport Eindhoven: that of the radically changing and increasingly smarter city. High-Tech meets City Design. The Dutch Mountains wants to excel as smart village, smart environment and as symbol for the smart-city development. And consequently, as an innovation hub and platform for all connected Brainport technologies.

De Run 1000 Location

The intended location will be at De Run 1000 in Veldhoven, right between the A2 and the extension of ASML. The De Run area, including ASML and the Maxima Medical Centre, has the potential to grow into a new innovation landscape within Eindhoven’s ecosystem. The impact of The Dutch Mountains is not only limited to the complex itself. The initiators are working with the Veldhoven City Council and the other stakeholders on the transformation of the area. The Dutch Mountains is the catalyst for new publicly accessible green structures, inspiring meeting places, future-proof mobility and sustainable transformation. By linking high-tech interventions integrally in and around the complex with major social issues, The Dutch Mountains is set to become an international source of inspiration for sustainable development.
